The North Trip

The Boat - MV Mazurka

Janine, Kevin and Kosh Delonge welcome you aboard their Poor Knights Liveaboard diving vessel, MV ‘Mazurka’ (meaning dance on the water). Mazurka is a 14m (45 feet) steel launch with comfortable accommodation for 6 guests, spacious saloon and well equipped galley. She is fully surveyed and licensed under the Safe Ship Management system from Northland to the Bay of Plenty. Her covered back deck offers a high level of diving convenience and has been designed to suit the needs of all level of diver - from novice to experienced photographers and technical divers.

Beam: 4.3 metres (14 feet)
Cruising Speed: 8 knots
Range: 1200 nautical miles.

Accommodation:
Forward Cabin: 3 single berths.
Mid Ship Saloon: 2 large single berths.
Main Wheelhouse: 1 single berth.
Aft Cabin: 1 double & 1 single berth.

Onboard Facilities:
Full size shower and separate Head with holding tanks.
Galley facilities include Broadwater marine gas oven and stove top, Combination microwave/convection oven and barbeque.
230 volt power
TV, video, DVD

Diving Facilities:
Bauer 7.5 cubic foot compressor, large covered dive deck, easy access dive platform, dive stations, camera table and rinse bin, wetsuit/drysuit rack, gear bag dry storage. Tanks, weights and gear hire available. On board diving and photography tuition available.
