Everyone can easily get a working knowledge of Primary Care First Aid, which provides the skills to cope, manage and assist in an emergency situation. From Basic CPR to a full Workplace First Aid program there is a course to suit your First Aid needs. A one day first aid course can introduce you to the basics, or the full 2 day course covers a broader knowledge of First Aid at Work. The Workplace First Aid training course covers all the areas required for the following NZQA modules:
6402 - Provide Resuscitation Level 2
6401 - Provide First Aid Level 2
6400 - Manage First Aid in Emergency Situations Level 3.
If you are looking for a diving related cert the Emergency First Response (EFR) courses build lay rescuer confidence to provide care when faced with a medical emergency. Students learn and practice the same patient care techniques and principles used by medical professionals, but at a lay person level. A knowledge of first aid can be an invaluable tool for divers and non-divers alike. From basic level to a full First Aid at Work program we can run a course to suit your needs. Skills are broken down into two main areas:
