Mid-Winter

June has thrown up a few wet and wild weekends, but there's been some diving going on.

Sadly a few cancelled weekends, but the 10*10*10 challenge did get an outing in June. So too did Jamie's Cavern and intro-Cave course. A couple of dives in Air Bubble cave to do basic line laying and recovery - the cavern zone was stuffed with Blue Maomao and Demoiselle. A complex line course in the channel of South Harbour made for an interesting twist on a dusk/night dive. Blue Maomao Arch was also full of fish and plenty of Stingrays flying about or just chilling in the sand.

Although not ideal conditions, we managed two dives in Taravana Cave for the Cave divers and everyone got to see the mermaid - eventually!! We had anchored on Landing Bay Pinnacle, so there was an ideal safety stop right under the boat.
