A Ray for every dive

Can't remember the last dive where there wasn't a ray of some sort swimming around us. Still to come across the mass stacking, but we are patient.

Had another Shearwater hit the boat and injure itself - ended up taking it back to the bird recovery centre. Just some bruising to the wings and legs!

Saw a big Kingfish swimming with its mouth open, which was pretty impressive - unless you're a small fish in the way I guess. Plenty of Kingys around - one of them spotted on a couple of occasions swimming underneath a stingray (maybe using it as a moving camouflage?).

The walls are covered with Nudibranch rosettes, with most species represented - tambja morosa, thinstripe, verconis with plenty of clowns and a few gems. Diadema Palmeri seem to be common at the moment - even in relatively open positions.

A Giant Boarfish was hanging around just outside of Rikoriko cave, which was a pretty impressive. Finally got to see a Mottled Moray to complete the moray species of the Knights - Hurrah!!!

Water temp is creeping up slowly and occasionally touches 20 degrees. The blue water hasn't arrived yet, but the visibility is still around 20m.
