Morosa Frenzy
At the edge of Taravana Cave and round Northern Arch there was plenty of sweet Nudibranch love going on! Usually a slightly rarer breed out here, but not at the moment - at Northern Arch there must have been 50 of them covering a small patch, with 10 or so hanging under the ledge at the entrance to Taravana. Small thin-stripe Tambja are also around on mass, as to are the tiny neon green Tambja.
Still plenty of rays all over the Poor Knights, with Eagle Rays seemingly more common at the moment - that may just be coincidence!?
Also some Spotted Black Grouper have been spotted at Middle Arch and (I think) around Big Eye Cave. If you hang around for a little while they are quite curious and come in pretty close. This is also the case with the juvenile Kingfish at the moment - wave your hand around a bit and they'll alter course and make a beeline straight for you, which is most impressive when they are above and display their amazing ability to dive straight down at top speed.
Water temp hitting 22 degrees on the computers and visibility around 25m in places :)
