Found a dead Shearwater on the deck one morning (obviously flew into the boat at night) and then had an unexpected dinner guest one evening as another shearwater checked out what was being served, but turned his nose up at steak!!!
On top of the water we watched a puffer fish (all blown up) try to evade a snapper, who eventually got bored and left. The puffer fish circled around the anchor chain and descended back to the bottom.
Under the surface the highlights were a tambja thinstripe (?) resting near Northern Arch, a grumpy eagle-ray in Blue Maomao Arch - I'd shone my torch on him one too many times and he decided to BUZZ us - there were also a couple of John Dory there, but then it was a night dive.
